About our horses |
On these tabs and the For Sale tab you will find information about our horses. Each horse will have a seperate photo album, pedigree and training information. All horses are wormed on a regular basis 5-6 times per year. They are microchipped and carry a freezebrand on the left hip. All horses are vaccinated in the spring for EWV/West Nile, Flu A1-A2-Kentucky, EHV 1 & 2, Rhino, Tetanus & Rabies. We use Ft. Dodge products. No horses are stalled and are out in the pasture 24/7 with sheds available (not that they use them). No horses wear shoes and are trimmed 4-6 times per year, I like them barefoot . Please read the Information Tab for Q&A, contracts, stallion service, micro-chipping, training etc,. |
All our horses' extended pedigrees can be found by their names or at either of these pedigree sites All Breed Pedigrees and Maple-Webranch Pedigrees (working on this site as of 01.04.10 and not completed) If you would like to view some of our Trail Rides just go through the albums. Thank you, Kimalot Ranch |

| 11/28/09 Lost Tar to a rupture. She was my favorite mare. Jan. 8-10 Clinic in Big Sandy with Dr. Deb Bennet (truly an awsome student of Tom Dorrance). |
| Lost Willie 12.26.08 due to an impaction. He will truly be missed.Began working with Raider in October. Oct 10th Gelded '21'Sept. 12, 2008 Hurricane Ike Hit was not a fun day, had a colt that has a cut like a triangle on his neck so took him in to the Vets office on Tuesday had that fixed up and gelded him at the same time. |
| May 10, wormed all the horses and this seems to take all day, well I had to rub, pull knots out of manes, clean hooves and need to start all over again on trimming, put some fly traps out. It just never ends. Coyotes got into the yard and decimated 5 sheep including Blackie the bottle baby. I am devastated over this. May 2nd, mom decided that dad was getting all the attention so she ended up in the Hospital until 7th due to complications with her COPD and now has diabetes so we will be working with that. April - Dad decided to get cancer and he had surgery on April 18th, they removed 1/3 of his tongue, he will have radiation treatments beginning in June. |
February 2008 we got Katty (SOLD) going in the round pen and on his 4th ride he was ridden in the National Forest for 3 hours. He did so well. January 2008 mares decided to do a little site seeing about a mile down into a subdivision...Oh what fun. Had the Sheriff honking the horn to see if they were mine... Oh my! Trees fall, fences go down and horse get around. Friday and Saturday October 12,13th. Mowed 10 acres, burned up some trees that were left over from Katrina and all the horses, foals and sheep were wormed. |
| 08.25.07 put the Stallion over with the geldings and colts. He is having a blast. Saturday 08.16.07 weaned off 4 of the foals and of course they immediately escape their enclosure to run amuck. Saturday 06.16.07 He broke it (the tractor) and had 50 rolls of hay delivered. Thank the Lord that Dot was able to help me. Also had a new colt born, my neice has laid claims to him. |
| Sunday 04.15.07 Started desentizing Chalimar and working her in the roundpen. Saturday 12/08/06 found a yearling colt dead, read about Treasure under the Rainbow tab. On Friday 10/6/06 we moved 37 round bales into the barn, it was an eventfull day and I will move the remaining 13 rolls next Friday. My grandfather brought his 18 wheeler up to help move the hay, I am gratefull to him and then he put them in the barn. I had a client come to pick his colt up and had to help load the little stinker. Then I had to get ready to work my shift at the Airport until midnight. It has been a long week. |
On Saturday 8/5/06 we freeze branded and microchiped the weanlings and a few yearlings. It was hot and muggy. I am constantly impressed with the willing attitude of my San Peppy babies, it seems they just take everything in stride. On Friday 7/14/06 and Saturday we moved all the mares, foals, yearling, two year old to the summer/fall pasture. All the horses took the move well and are enjoying the knee deep grass on 40 acres. |
